Honduras is now closer for foreigners considering buying real estate situated in the central American country as Choice Aire add to the list of airlines servicing the region. Choice Aire, operated by XTRA Airways, will offer nonstop flights from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on Dec. 17, the company announced Friday (Oct. 28).

The flights will leave on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Louis Armstrong (MSY) to Ramon Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP). Choice Aire will utilize a 150-seat Boeing 737-400 for the approximately three-hour flight. The Boeing 737-400s feature 12 first-class seats and 138 standard class seats.

Choice Aire is a public charter company headquartered in Miami with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, the company said in a press release. The company currently offers flights from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to Miami. Connections with Choice Aire from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa, Roatan, La Ceiba, Puerto Lempira, and Utila, will be available soon.
