Attracting more British skiers than any other French resort, Val d'Isere is a superb resort ideal for advanced skiers. If you're up for some lively buzz, head over to the centre of the resort, where you can find the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts, which will take you to more serene peaks such as the stunning Le Fornet. We're telling you a little secret, though: you don't really need to be an advanced skier to enjoy Val, as it's also suitable for intermediates!
