Samra Bay Marina and Spa Resort is a new luxury destination along the Golden Mile of Hurghada, Egypt. It is situated along the Red Sea coast of Egypt and is the premier tourist destination in the country. This new resort is being developed on 120,000 square meters of land and will have a marina, spa, fitness center, diving and aquatic sports center as well as plenty of entertainment, bars and restaurants.
The Samra Bay resort is being designed around its own lagoon with a beach front over one kilometer long. The first phase of residential units is called the Abrim residences and has 140 units available. Construction on this phase is well under way, and the second phase, called the Maliki Club is also under construction. The Maliki Club is scheduled for completion in 2012.
Recently, the National Bank of Abu Dhabi signed an agreement with the developer of Samra Bay to guarantee rents to buyers of new units. The state controlled bank will guarantee rental income to purchasers for two years.
