The first 10 meters are also good for the smaller children. There are food options at the beach. Rowing boats and pedal boats can be hired. Ideal for some water fun.

The larger towns in the area are Sárvár (18 km) with a nice swimming pool and adventure park. For the adventurers, a visit to the castle in Sümeg (30 km) is also recommended. Zalaszentgrót with the thermal bath is 17 km away and a day trip to Hévíz (known from the thermal lake) and Keszthely with its lively centre and castle is easy to do.
In Sárvár and Keszthely you can do all the shopping you need.

A day of tourism at Lake Balaton (Balatongörök) is doable. From Hosszúpereszteg in a 45 minute’s drive. Enjoy a day of tourist fun and then return to the wonderful peace of your Hungarian home.
