Benalmadena Marina is also 15 minutes walk and again is full of shops and bars etc. From the marina various boat trips are available.



There is a local bus stop outside which allows you to easily get to Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmadena Pueblo, and Mijas. The train station is 15 minutes walk away and this serves the area from Malaga to Fuengirola and conveniently stops at the airport. At the top of Arroyo is Tivoli World and the cable cars which take you up into the local mountains.

Benalmadena is a town on southern Spain's Costa del Sol, known for its beaches and Tivoli World theme park. The modern Puerto Marina is home to the Sea Life Benalmadena aquarium and moored yachts. in the traditional Andalusian old town lie the Castillo Monumento Colomares, a castle-style monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America, and the Benalmadena Stupa, a large Buddhist temple.



Benalmadena is a municipality in the province of Malaga consisting of three main areas: Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. The city of Malaga (and the nearest airport) is about 12 km to the west, and Marbella is 42 km to the east. Benalmadena enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable, temperatures are an average of 30 ºC in summer and 17 ºC in winter.
