The town has supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bowling/bocce alley, event venue, churches, and numerous historical landmarks.  Carved symbolism that dates back to and beyond even the Templar Knights can be seen above the outside doors of the main Church.  The town is within driving distance to  Bagni di Lucca, Lucca, Florence, Montecatini and the Spas, Volterra, San Marcello Pisotiese and Abetone Ski Resort.  Buses come and go from the town on a regular daily basis, therefore facilitating transportation.  Parking spots for cars are located next to the Restaurant and Event Venue just an immediate walk from the house.  The restaurant Buca Di Baldabo is well known for excellent cuisine and attracts visitors year round
