Somogyszentpál is 10 minutes from the main road from Kéthely - Marcali and on the other side to Lake Balaton. Kéthely is a somewhat larger place and from there it is 5 minutes to Marcali. You can do all your shopping in Marcali. Tesco, Little, Penny, Aldi, everything can be found there. Also a nice swimming pool (with thermal bath) where you can relax in the summer.

From Somogyszentpál you can easily go to Lake Balaton and then the nicest place to go is Balatonfenyes. You can go there by train. This is the last narrow-gauge train in Hungary. It was recently decided to refurbish the route and that the train will continue to travel to Csisztapuszta. Well-known thermal bath on this side of the Balaton.
