A food van drives through every morning. and there is a shop and post office within easy walking distance. Buses are regular.
Local costs of running are Hungarian Low.. unbelievably negligible. The tax has been waivered while empty, but the local council official may want 100 euros a year at most for the tax if occupied. The electric and water are on meters... no standing charges - only pay for what you use. There is also a well if you want to be minimalistic.
There is a large plot of land with the property stretching an impressive 1400 sq m. see pics. This is a blank canvass waiting for planting and design.
Truly a cheap dream home, in a place incredibly low cost to get to. The bus from Budapest is around 12-15 euros. (if you decided not to bring your car.)
