PROPERTY OVERViEW

With its laid-back atmosphere, stunning architecture, iconic landmarks and outstanding natural scenery, France continues to be one of the most popular places across the world to be. On offer here is a chance to invest into this wonderful part of Europe with this amazing property.
Located in Grands Causses Regional Park, Coupiac, Aveyron, this stunning property, known as Longuevernhe, offers 18,000 square feet of accommodation and comprises of a main farmhouse on three levels and four outbuildings on two levels. The house was originally built in 1796 and extended in 1818 using the corner stones of the old Albi cathedral.

When complete, The Ecotherapy Retreat will offer flexible accommodation, numerous work and entertainment spaces, and a range of on-site facilitates to support physical and mental recovery.

This property is not only a fantastic real estate investment but offers buyers an exciting venture into the French holiday rental market, thanks to its spectacular location and layout. Thanks to the emergence of direct rental sites such as Airbnb and booking.com, the holiday rental market has been growing rapidly over the past decade and France is consistently one of the most sought-after areas across Europe for such rentals. This property is perfectly placed to enable the owners to give a feeling of privacy and intimacy thanks to its stunning surroundings but without being too isolated from essential amenities such as shops, medical assistance, restaurants and bars in the nearby village.

in an era where we are all becoming more aware of how our lives affect the natural environment, this apartment complex is setting the standard with numerous eco-friendly designs and ideas such as solar powering and in the way it is designed to incorporate the local wildlife rather than destroying it, as most other residential projects do. Not only are these features setting the standard we all need to follow in terms of environmental awareness, but they have the added benefit of huge savings on energy bills for the owner.

Not only is Coupiac a wonderful area in itself but its central location also makes it a great base for exploring the many other fascinating cities, towns and villages across the country, from nearby Toulouse and Montpellier to the famous wine country regions in Bordeaux and the breath-taking beaches of the south, all needs truly are catered for in this magnificent place.

Sports and leisure fans will feel right at home here as the are is packed full of excellent walking, cycling and fishing areas in the nearby rivers. There are also many excellent golf courses near the property including Golf des Gorges du Tarn.
The area is also very well-connected transport wise locally via road and rail and internationally via air. There are regional airports at Beziers and Le Sequestre and the nearest international airport is Montpellier-Mediterranee Airport.

ABOUT THE AREA

The French call Aveyron - a little-known region sprawled across the southern edge of the rugged Massif Central - la France profonde, the deepest of deep heartlands. Although only a couple of hours' drive north of metropolitan Toulouse and Montpellier, it is sparsely populated and seemingly impervious to change, a land of secret valleys, wild pastures and craggy peaks. Before i visited, a Parisian friend described it as 'being lost in the middle of nowhere'. 'But in a good way,' he added. 'People who go there tend to rave about it.'
There are no motorways or fast-train lines scarring the Aveyron landscape, so everyone who travels around it is forced to slow down. This meditative pace seems entirely appropriate. Since the Middle Ages millions of Christian pilgrims have walked the Camino de Santiago route, which wiggles its way across the region's northern reaches towards Spain.
Coupiac is located in the Regional Natural Park of Grands Causses, south of the department of Aveyron, halfway between Saint-Affrique and Albi (in the Tarn). The town is attached to the Community of Communes of Saint Affricain, Roquefort, 7 valleys which has a very rich associative fabric.
The village is well equipped in terms of shops and services: supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, post office with cash machine, dentist, physiotherapist, transport ambulance, taxi, garage, hardware store, bar, hairdresser, clothing stores, carpentry and agricultural products. There is also a fuel station and motorhome area.
The Grands Causses Regional Natural Park reveals its natural heritage to you on arrival. Discover the diversity of its fauna and flora through magnificent landscapes. During your visit, enjoy sports and leisure activities in the heart of nature.
