The airline has joined forces with The On Holiday Group to offer real-time, dynamically packaged holidays to attack the heart of traditional tour operating.
A multi-million pound advertising campaign will launch the online company to the public later this month, promising ‘The whole package for less’ – and with the backing of two industry-leading companies, it is set to make waves within the traditional travel sector.
Overseas property owners and those considering buying property abroad benefit from low cost flights making their holiday homes more accessible. Jet2holidays.com will offer hundreds of thousands of package holiday options to customers in and around six UK airports in the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland to the Spanish mainland, the Balearics and Canaries, as well as Portugal.
The packages will be available to all travel agents online at Jet2holidays.com, providing agents with the option of adding service charges as they see fit. The operator is confident customers will appreciate the service travel agents offer and now expect to pay extra for this. Over and above this, Philip Meeson also confirmed that Jet2holidays.com is currently in discussion with a major retail chain about selling the product within their network of shops.
For the first time, holidays will be dynamically packaged from high quality three, four and five-star hotel stock and paired with low cost airline flights – exclusively on Jet2.com services – meaning, rather than being constrained by weekly departure dates, customers can depart on the day of their choice.
To make the whole package complete, Jet2holidays.com is promising all holidays will include personal taxi transfers. In addition, on-demand holiday reps will ensure help is on hand when needed without the hassle of a rep following customers’ every move.
Although Jet2holidays.com will initially focus on the traditional beach package holiday market, other products such as ski will be added in the near future. In addition, plans are in place to eventually offer variable durations alongside new exciting destinations suited to the package holiday market.
