A UK property website has highlighted the potential in the London housing market for overseas property developers considering investing in the UK.

The Little House Company which has been promoting accessible homes since 2000 explains that London offers a huge potential for international development companies considering starting new projects in the UK capital

Director at The Little House Company Nick Marr “ There are approximately 1.24 million wheelchair users in London, and a recent report from Trailblazers highlighted the difficulties that young disabled people face in the UK when trying to purchase a property. The report found that although 90% said that they are just as keen to get on to the property ladder as their non-disabled peers, seven out of ten find it difficult to find accommodation that is accessible to them. There is also evidence to suggest that 36.5% of disabled people lived in ‘non-decent housing’ compared to 31.4% of non-disabled

The latest wheelchair friendly developments featured at The Little House Company are located in Bermondsey and Haringey, both developments offer adapted properties suitable for wheelchair users and demonstrate how new home builders can build with mobility in mind.
