Globrix has been replaced by Zoopla for News International’s property searches.

The UK property search engine previously powered searches for News International’s publications, including The Times, Sunday Times and The Sun. But in 2009, the million pound investment was sold back to Globrix by Murdoch’s media company, before the publisher also sold its investment in PropertyFinder to Zoopla.

Last month, Zoopla was picked up to power searches on New International websites, reports PaidContent.co.uk. Alex Chesterman, CEO of Zoopla, commented:

“We are delighted to be working with News International. Their brands are amongst the most read in the newspaper market, with the most-visited websites in the UK – the deal clearly adds value for all our members.”
