Movie Stars and Celebrities Promote the UAE

Stars from both Hollywood, Bollywood and the sporting world are attaching their names to some of the most prestigious developments in Dubai these days. Academy Award winner Hillary Swank has signed on to promote Aquitainia, and will help to launch the US$1.49 billion project on The World Islands. Aquitainia occupies the islands of France and Spain in the unique islands of the world development off the coast of Dubai.

In addition to Ms. Swank, singer Kelly Rowland will perform at the opening of the development this weekend. Potential clients will be able to view the islands and the investment prospects of the one million plus square foot project at the Buddha Bar.

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan is helping to develop a property the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. This development is a group of buildings on Al Dana Island. Dana Island, which consists of a main stem in three parts and ten leaf shaped islands, is being developed to accommodate world class hotels, residential complexes and commercial buildings and will extend a total of seven kilometers into the sea.

There are already a number of stars and celebrities, such David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Tiger Woods who have either purchased properties in the Emirates or are helping to promote some of the many developments in Dubai and the other emirates. Tiger Woods is designing his own championship golf course and is joined by several other prominent golfers doing the same thing. Boris Becker and Michael Schumacher have also added their names to the growing list of celebs connected with the growing region.
