Secret Valley Golf Resort Develops in Cyprus

The Secret Valley Golf Resort is one of the most popular golf clubs on the island of Cyprus and is currently developing itself into a complete holiday resort. Located 18 kilometers east of Paphos, on the western end of the island, the resort is convenient to the city and international airport. It has one of the best courses on the island and will soon have another one to complement it.

Secret Valley currently has an 18 hole championship golf course that is home to the Cyprus Open. It is set in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful natural rock formations, with the course using the natural layout of the land. A new course, set above the original one, is under construction and is being designed by Tony Jacklin and Hans-Georg Erhardt. This new course is already drawing praise from golfers, and will likely host a European PGA Tour event when finished. The coastline of the resort is also being reworked, with a 500 meter long, man-made beach set to appear along the waterfront. Other additions will include a marina, retail complex, restaurants and more.

There are currently more than 650 housing plots available for purchase and development on the Secret Valley Resort property. These plots vary from 1,000 square meters to 1,700 square meters, and are set on the rolling property with wonderful views. Off-plan property can be purchased with completion set for approximately 18 months. There are also a number of apartments already constructed, and more on the way. For those who are not going to be living in their home or villa year round, or plan to lease it out, there is a property management service available to take all the hassles out of keeping everything up to date.

With all the new development that is planned and under way for Secret Valley, this area is becoming a golfing hotspot on the island. Nearby are several other excellent golf courses, including Aphrodite Hills. Residents and visitors who are staying here can experience the best golfing on the island at Secret Valley and nearby, at any time of the year.
