A Place In The Sun Exhibition Revamped
A Place in the Sun live exhibition in association with Moneycorp has revamped its seminar programme to include overseas property experts and TV personalities. The 72 free seminars taking place at the exhibition on 28th -30th September at NEC Birmingham will be hosted by Amanda Lamb (A Place in the Sun) , Phil Spencer (Location Location Location) Andrew Winter Selling Houses , Peter Conradi (The Sunday Times), Nigel Lewis and Matt Havercroft (A Place in the Sun magazine)
The revamped seminar programme will include for the first time – seminar theatres dedicated specifically to investment, buying advice and emigration.
Peter Conradi of The Sunday Times will be speaking on the fly-to-let market, while no less than three of A Place in the Sun magazine’s senior editors (Mark Bishop, Matt Havercroft and Nigel Lewis – formerly Property Editor of the Daily Mail) will cover how to build a property portfolio, how to finance your investment and how to establish the key investment criteria that work for you.

A Place in the Sun presenter Amanda Lamb will, of course, be on hand – twice daily to outline how to buy your place in the sun, while her colleague Victoria Hollingsworth will ask why you should be looking abroad in the first instance. TV trouble-shooter Andrew Winter will detail why you should always be looking to buy with selling in mind, with Phil Spencer –typically – explaining why it’s all about Location Location Location. Jonnie Irwin and Jasmine Harman, meantime, of the A Place in the Sun spin-off show Home or Away, will be debating the merits of buying homes in the UK or overseas.
Emigration is quite the hot topic and, with 35% of A Place in the Sun Live show visitors considering permanently leaving the UK now or in the future, the Emigration Seminars will provide useful advice on moving abroad to America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Europe.
