Tesco and Primelocation no property portal deal

 
Property portal Primelocation has written to its member to clarify their position regarding the approach made to them by supermarket giant Tesco.  Primelocation.com recently confirmed that they were approached by Tesco a few months ago regarding feeding their listings to the new Tesco property website. Primelocation has felt it necessary to clarify its position after reports in the Uk press stated that the two were working together.
 
 
The  Uk based property website is regarded as one the main competitors to the Uk’s largest property website at rightmove.co.uk. Primelocation.com was established in 2001 and lists properties from estate agent from across the Uk. Primelocation property portal like its competitors Rightmove.co.Uk, Findaproperty.co.Uk and Propertyfinder.com do not allow private sellers to list properties on their websites. In contrast Tesco new property website is aimed at private sellers who wish to advertise their homes for sale without using an estate agent.
