Luxury Texas home for sale in 14 acres
The inaugural winner of American Idol in 2002, Clarkson is the
14th biggest selling recording artist of the 2000s. Now, the star is selling her Texas mansion
and 14 acres of land for $1.495 million (£955,000).

The property is situated in Mansfield, just 25 minutes from Burleson, Texas where the Since U Been Gone star grew up.
The property boasts four bedrooms and six bathrooms, including dual master suites. It also features a theatre room and a gym spread across its 6,880 square feet of living space and comes with 14 acres of land.
Female First reports that ‘the 30-year-old singer has modified the house by adding a man-made pond, lap and diving pools, and a tree house, alongside dog runs and walking trails.’
Clarkson has previously admitted the house has become like a ‘rescue ranch’ as she is so willing to take in sick and abandoned creatures.
She said: "We have 30 dogs, 14 horses. We still only have three ponies and four minis, but we have goats now, two pigs we rescued called Miss Daisy and Boss Hog, I gave those to my brother."
The property sale comes in the same week that the Texan surpasses Carrie Underwood as American Idol's best-selling singles artist. Clarkson, who was the talent show's inaugural winner in 2002, edged past the country star's record this week after her latest single Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) reached sales of 3.51 million.
