Who Are Real Estate TV?
When Real Estate TV was first launched on Sky and Virgin Media back in October 2004, the market was entirely different to today’s market where property prices have fallen and buyers are holding onto their cash.
As from yesterday, the 1st April, the service provided by Real Estate TV has been cancelled as the channel has ceased broadcasting.
The news of the broadcaster’s collapse is a bit of shock considering that Fox International bought a controlling interest in the channel only a few months ago in January.
Normally that would have been enough to secure the channel’s future.
The channel’s demise will leave two empty slots on Sky’s electronic programme guide (EPG).
Real Estate TV launched in October 2004 on the Sky platform, channel 279 and is the UK’s only property channel. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, we are available to over 17 million viewers in the UK and millions more across Europe.
