“Pano Lahania” is a unique new development of 12 villas and apartments, each with its own style, inspired by traditional Rhodian houses. There are three types of residences (small, medium and large). All have covered parking spaces that lead you straight into the yard. Most have private swimming pools resembling the old cisterns of a village. The villas consist of simple structures, some with flat and others with tiled roofs. They feature the famous “votsalota”, pebble-stoned pavements that decorate interior and exterior spaces of most Rhodian homes. High walls, elegant chimneys, imposing gates and external stairways, create the traditional atmosphere of the new village.
The traditional theme is carried through internally with wooden beams and arches. Some interiors incorporate the traditional “pataros”, a raised platform used as a bedroom. There are 2 and 3 bedroom villas available (3rd bedroom is the pataros). All villas have 2 bathrooms and covered parking areas.
The whole layout resembles a rhodian village with a square in the middle where convenience stores will be operating for the residents’ everyday needs. There will be 54 houses.
