Buzios Brazil Set To Attract Overseas Investors

Just 2 hours from Rio de Janiero, the coastal town of Buzios is an international investors’ dream location. This town has hosted stars and celebrities, as footballers Ronaldo and Romario, and pop-stars Madonna and Michael Jackson have been sighted hanging out in recent years. With over 20 beaches here, this popular fishing village has a bit of everything.

 

Brigitte Bardot helped to make this little town a popular destination, and it has lived up to all expectations. Geriba Beach is the most popular and is the favorite for party goers and sun worshipers. There are beachfront bars that are open late into the night, so this is a place for those who want to have fun. Not far away is Azeda Beach, with a completely different atmosphere. This small, secluded beach is calm and a great place for snorkeling, and is an easy walk from town. There are many other beaches, so you can pick one to suit your daily desires from surfing and windsurfing to diving and more.

 

Finding the ideal property in Buzios is a little trickier than many of the other beach resorts on the northeast coast of Brazil. This town is still relatively small, despite its popularity, and new developments are rare. There are some small projects that you can find in and around town and there are some nice, pre-existing homes that have plenty to offer. Because of its popularity and still small size, prices here are also more than other, newer resort towns, but it can be well worth the investment for potential buyers.

 

Buzios lies on the Atlantic coast of Brazil, approximately 175 kilometers from Rio de Janiero. It is just less than a 2 hour drive by car from the international airport in Rio, and there are also direct and connecting flights to the Cabo Frio International Airport, about 30 minutes south down the coastline.
