Dalaman, Turkey Property for sale in Dalaman Turkey and guide to the region aimed at overseas property buyers considering buying Turkish property Quick Search
The town of Dalaman is a popular location for international travelers and property seekers along the Turquoise Coast of Turkey. With its modern, international airport and location near the sea and popular resorts, Dalaman is ideally located for people who want to be able to get to their overseas property quickly. Dalaman is not as large or well known as the other major cities along the Mediterranean coast; as a result it is not as expensive as some of the more lavish resorts that are to the east and west of here. For the international property investor, this is a nice place to look for reasonably priced housing, both pre-existing and off plan. The town of Dalaman has about 20,000 residents, making it a nice size for those looking at a slower pace and easier life. Plenty of existing and new housing is available here. Because it’s not right on the beach, the prices for property in Dalaman are a bit lower than other resort towns. Bargain seekers can find some good deals here, even for off-plan property. Sarigerme is a nearby beach resort, and it is about 15 kilometers west of town. There are multiple developments under way here and you can purchase property to live in or rent out. Off plan and recently constructed property is available in Sarigerme in semi-detached villas and apartments. For those looking for vacation rentals there are plenty of offerings here as well. Once you are here, there is plenty to keep you busy, from the spectacular blue Mediterranean to the many historic sites nearby. Dalaman International Airport (DLM) is situated to the south of town and is one of the busier airports in the country, particularly in the summer. There are several direct flights to and from Istanbul daily, and there are daily and weekly direct flights in and out of major European cities, including London. The flights increase significantly during the summer months and major travel times. Useful Turkish resources
