There are 34 designated plots where investors and businesses can develop buildings that are designed to fit in this district. This will be the hub of life in International City with shops and offices for its residents.

The Dragon Mart is a large trade mall shaped like a dragon and serves as a commercial center for Chinese companies. Already open and home to many businesses, when completely finished there will be over 3,000 companies here.

Dubai Design Centre is an exclusive area for exhibitions, shows and several five star hotels.

The Lakes District is 60 hectares of green space and residential buildings that border a beautiful lake in the heart of International City. There will be approximately 1400 2 and 3 bedroom duplex apartments, from 150 to 170 square meters, located here.

The Forbidden City is a replica of the Forbidden City in located in the heart of Beijing, China. It will accommodate residential housing as well as retail outlets mixed in with lush gardens and museums.
