There are no restrictions for British citizens buying property in Croatia, you can buy as an individual or a company. However if you are buying as an individual you will need to obtain a permit from the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which can take anything up to 12 months, however 6 months is normal.
Transfer tax of 5% should be anticipated VAT is payable on new-build homes at 22% Legal fees can be between 1% and 2% Agents fees will be between 2% and 3%
