Minimum: CDN$50,000, No Maximum, but cannot exceed 70% of valuation or purchase price (whichever is the lower).

Proof of Income: required in all cases (can be made up of Earned Income, Pension, Investment or Rental Income. Please note however, it is not always the case that the Lender will take all or part of these Incomes into account when determining the maximum loan available). Non-Status loans are currently not available.

Additional Info : Total Debt Service looks at Gross Annual Income needed to service all debts. Total Debt Service payments not to exceed 37-40% Gross annual income

Currency: Canadian Dollars only

Current Variable Interest Rate in Canadian Dollars: from 6.25% Variable. Fixed Rates are also available for varying periods.

 

Example Canadian Mortgage: Repayment mortgage of approx CAD$100,000 over a period of 25 years at a Variable Interest Rate of approx 6.25% = approx CAD$660.00 capital & interest per month = a total approximate amount payable over term of CAD$198,000 exclusive of arrangement & survey fees.
